CHI appoints Principal Scientist

Cambridge, UK – 30 November 2021: Cambridge Healthcare Innovations Ltd (CHI), a medical device development company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Greenwood as Principal Scientist. At CHI Jamie will lead the technology testing programmes, as well as managing the CHI laboratory.

Jamie has over 19 years of experience in medical and consumer product development and testing, having been Head of Device Testing at the medical device design consultancy Team Consulting (Cambridge), before which he was a Senior Scientist at Cambridge Consultants.

Jamie has developed deep expertise in test requirements and best practices for a range of medical products, both leading and conducting test programmes across the entire development cycle from Proof of Concept through to formal Device Verification Testing (DVeT). Jamie has supported development, testing, and regulatory submissions for dozens of medical products, including surgical instruments, diagnostic systems, needle injection systems, and aerosol drug delivery devices.

Jamie’s experience and skillset in aerosol testing and best practices will be put to immediate use on CHI’s platform dry powder inhaler (DPI) technology, αeolus, which is being developed and commercialised in collaboration with the leading contract development and manufacturing organisation Kindeva Drug Delivery.
